Golden Globe: tutte le nomination

Annunciate nel primo pomeriggio (le 8 del mattino a NYC e le 5 in California) le nomination alla 65esima edizione dei Golden Globe, prestigioso premio conferito dalla associazione della stampa internazionale ai migliori film e prodotti televisivi di Hollywood (e non).

Guida le nomination Atonement, ovvero Espiazione, con sette nomination, compreso miglior film drammatico e riconoscimenti per attori come Keira Knightley e James McAvoy. Cinque nomination invece per Charlie Wilson's War, l'attesa commedia politica di Mike Nichols che uscirà presto negli Stati Uniti e che noi vedremo a febbraio, in tempo per gli Oscar.

A sorpresa, per un problema di parità nei voti, sono sette i nominati a miglior film drammatico, e non i soliti cinque. Si tratta di American Gangster, Eastern Promises, No Country for Old Men, Michael Clayton, The Great Debaters e l'atteso There Will Be Blood.

Due nomination per Cate Blanchett: migliore attrice per Elizabeth: the Golden Age, e miglior non protagonista per Io non sono qui. Anche Philip Seymour Hoffman ha ottenuto due nomination, una come protagonista per The Savages mentre come non protagonista per Charlie Wilson's War.

Tim Burton e Helena Bonham Carter hanno ricevuto ciascuno una nomination, lui per la regia di Sweeney Todd, e lei per la sua interpretazione nel film; anche Johnny Depp ha ottenuto una nomination.

A sorpresa (ma neanche troppo), The Simpsons Movie è stato nominato come miglior film d'animazione assieme a Bee Movie e a Ratatouille (vincitore quasi assicurato).

Le premiazioni avverranno il 13 gennaio 2008, ma non è chiaro con quali modalità visto che molti show di premiazione (compresi i Globe e gli Oscar, che si terranno il 24 febbraio) vengono scritti da membri del Writer's Guild, attualmente in sciopero.
