La Universal ha mantenuto la promessa, e ha annunciato ufficialmente l'uscita della trilogia di Jurassic Park in Blu-Ray Disc.
La data di uscita è fissata per il 25 ottobre negli Stati Uniti, e se la procedura sarà la stessa della release di Ritorno al Futuro, probabilmente non dovremo aspettare troppo per vedere il cofanetto anche in Italia.
Secondo il comunicato, i tre film verranno presentati in 1.85:1 a 1080p, rimasterizzati in HD. L'audio originale sarà in DTS HD MA 5.1.
Per quanto riguarda i contenuti speciali, saranno tutti quelli presentati nelle edizioni DVD precedenti, più uno speciale di due ore preparato appositamente per il Blu-Ray Disc intitolato Ritorno a Jurassic Park e diviso in sei parti. Lo speciale comprende interviste e momenti dietro le quinte.
