MTV ha annunciato i nominati dell'edizione 2012 degli MTV Movie Awards, guidati da Hunger Games e Le Amiche della Sposa con 8 nomination a testa.

I vincitori verranno decisi dai fan sul sito MovieAwards.MTV.com: le votazioni si aprono oggi e si concluderanno il 2 giugno, e come negli anni precedenti la categoria Film dell'Anno verrà decisa durante la cerimonia stessa di premiazione grazie alla possibilità di votare in diretta. La premiazione si terrà il 3 giugno al Gibson Amphitheatre di Universal City, California.
