Come da tradizione, a 24 ore dagli Oscar la Golden Raspberry Award Foundation ha assegnato i premi ai peggiori film dell’anno, ed è il film d’animazione della Sony a conquistare il maggior numero di riconoscimenti: peggior film, peggior regista, peggiore sceneggiatura, peggior combo sullo schermo. Cinquanta Sfumature di Nero ha ottenuto peggior remake o sequel e peggiore attrice non protagonista (Kim Basinger), mentre curiosamente Tyler Perry ha vinto come peggiore attrice per il suo ruolo “en travesti” di Madea, mentre Tom Cruise è il peggior attore per La Mummia. Nessun premio, invece, per Transformers: L’Ultimo Cavaliere, uno dei pochi episodi della saga risparmiati (nonostante ben nove nomination). Baywatch ha vinto il premio nella nuova categoria “Il candidato al Razzie così stroncato che finisci per amarlo”, mentre in questa edizione il genere supereroistico non ha ricevuto alcuna attenzione
