La tradizione annuale di Steven Soderbergh continua: anche nel 2018, il regista si è segnato ogni singolo film, serie tv, cortometraggio, spettacolo teatrale e libro che ha letto, pubblicando poi la lisyta sul suo sito ufficiale.

Come sempre, Soderbergh si tiene molto aggiornato sulle nuove uscite, e non nasconde di rivedere più volte alcuni film, come nel caso di Ready Player One che ha visto due volte, o inevitabilmente Ocean’s 8 (di cui è produttore). Come ogni anno, poi, ha rivisto alcuni film del suo amico David Fincher – questa volta è toccato a The Social Network e Panic Room. Ha visto serie tv come Maniac, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, o suoi film in produzione come The Laundromat (le cui riprese sono iniziate a ottobre).
