Condotta da Rebel Wilson, l'edizione 2013 degli MTV Movie Awards si è svolta questa notte (trasmettendo, tra le altre cose, il trailer di Hunger Games: la Ragazza di Fuoco) e ha segnato il trionfo di Il Lato Positivo e The Avengers.

Jennifer Lawrence e Bradley Cooper hanno vinto il premio come miglior performance femminile, miglior performance maschile e miglior bacio, mentre il cinecomic Marvel ha vinto due premi tra cui quello di film dell'anno. Un'unico premio per The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parte 2, quello a Taylor Lautner per la miglior performance senza maglietta.
