Annie Awards 2017: Coco trionfa con 11 premi

La Pixar torna a vincere agli Annie Awards: Coco ha infatti trionfato alla 45esima edizione dei premi più importanti dell’industria dell’animazione, vincendo ben 11 riconoscimenti nelle 13 categorie in cui era nominato, incluso Miglior Film d’Animazione, confermandosi come il frontrunner per l’Oscar corrispondente (dal 2002, 11 dei 16 vincitori dell’Annie hanno ottenuto l’Oscar).

A vincere il premio come miglior film d’animazione indipendente The Breadwinner (nominato in 10 categorie). I Winsor McCay Awards sono stati invece consegnati a James Baxter, a Stephen Hillenburg (creatore di SpongeBob) e a Wendy Tilby & Amanda Forbis.
