Di recente sono approdate online delle nuove foto scattate sul set di Los Angeles di Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn), lo spin-off al femminile di Suicide Squad incentrato sul personaggio interpretato da Margot Robbie.

Nelle foto in questione, oltre a Margot Robbie, possiamo dare un nuovo sguardo anche a Rosie Perez nei panni della detective Renee Montoya.

I protagonisti, oltre a Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), saranno Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Cacciatrice (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), la detective Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Batgirl/Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), Maschera Nera (Ewan McGregor) e Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina).

Alla regia Cathy Yan, prima regista asio-americana a dirigere un cinecomic, che ha confermato l’intenzione di girare un film vietato ai minori. L’uscita è prevista per il 7 febbraio 2020.
