La Phillips interpreterà se stessa nella premiere di stagione dello show in cui Van Der Beek (anche lui interprete di se stesso) tenterà di organizzare una reunion coi colleghi del celebre teen drama della WB.La creatrice Nahnatchka Kahn ha dichiarato a TV Guide che non si opporrebbe se anche Joshua Jackson, Katie Holmes e Michelle Williams decidessero di fare un salto nello show.
