Henry Cavill lascia The Witcher: la protesta dei fan

Molti fan di The Witcher non sembrano aver preso bene la notizia che Henry Cavill lascerà la serie e verrà sostituito nel ruolo di Geralt di Rivia da Liam Hemsworth a partire dalla quarta stagione.

Cavill si è sempre dichiarato un grande fan dei romanzi di Sapkowski e dei videogiochi di CD Projekt RED, e ha fatto molte pressioni per ottenere la parte quando la serie venne messa in sviluppo. Questa sua passione ha creato un legame fortissimo con i fan del franchise, e alcuni di loro hanno già annunciato di non voler seguire più la serie dopo la terza stagione.

Netflix ha cercato di dare la notizia focalizzandosi soprattutto sull'annuncio del rinnovo per una quarta stagione (la terza stagione, già girata, arriverà nel 2023), ciononostante le risposte che ricevute dai post sui social sono piuttosto negative:
