Nel week-end del 7 giugno 1984, Ghostbusters, il cult di Ivan Reitman, usciva nei cinema americani (in Italia sarebbe arrivato il 21 novembre).
Sono dunque trascorsi 30 anni e la Sony ha in serbo svariate iniziative per celebrare la ricorrenza.
Innanzitutto, la pellicola verrà riproposta in 700 sale cinematografiche statunitensi il prossimo 29 agosto, poi il 16 settembre arriverà nei negozi in un cofanetto Blu-Ray contenente i due film del franchise.
