Diretto da Steven Spielberg, IL PONTE DELLE SPIE è un thriller che parla della storia di James Donovan (interpretato da Tom Hanks), un avvocato delle assicurazioni di Brooklyn che si troverà coinvolto al centro della guerra fredda , quando la Cia gli darà il compito di negoziare il rilascio di un pilota americano che è stato catturato.
A comporre la colonna sonora Thomas Newman. Nel cast anche Amy Ryan, Mark Rylance, Alan Alda, Austin Stowell e Billy Magnussen.
Scritto da Joel ed Ethan Coen assieme a Matt Charman, autore dell’idea originale, il film approderà nei cinema statunitensi il 16 ottobre, in Italia il 17 dicembre.
