Sarà Rebel Wilson (tra i protagonisti di Pitch Perfect) a condurre l'edizione 2013 degli MTV Movie Awards il 14 aprile. Sono state annunciate oggi le nomination ai premi popolari organizzati dal noto canale televisivo, e a dominare con il maggior numero di candidature vi sono Django Unchaned di Quentin Tarantino e Ted di Seth MacFarlane, con sette nomination ciascuna.

Sei nomination per Il Lato Positivo, mentre Il Cavaliere Oscuro – il Ritorno ne ottiene cinque. Quattro nomination a testa per The Avengers, Noi Siamo Infinito, Pitch Perfect e 007 – Skyfall. Le votazioni iniziano oggi su MovieAwards.MTV.com e proseguiranno fino al 13 aprile.

Due le categorie inedite: "miglior performance senza maglietta" (che vede nominati Channing Tatum, Taylor Lautner, Daniel Craig, Christian Bale e Ted) e "miglior scena musicale" (Les Misérables, Magic Mike, Pitch Perfect, Il Lato Positivo e Noi Siamo Infinito).
