La settimana dal 29 settembre al 5 ottobre ha visto in Giappone l'uscita di un titolo di rilievo, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix, ma le circa 85.000 copie vendute dal gioco non sono bastate a scalzare dalla prima posizione Super Smash Bros. per Nintendo 3DS, che continua a dominare nonostante i problemi di reperibilità di copie del gioco. Buono l'esordio di Forbidden Magna, sempre per Nintendo 3DS, al quarto posto. Poco da registrare dal lato hardware, console portatili in testa, home dietro, Nintendo meglio di Sony.
