Assegnati i Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2011

Sono stati assegnati ieri pomeriggio i primi Primetime Emmy Awards durante la cerimonia dei Creative Arts Emmy Awards, quella cioè dedicata agli Emmy “minori” o tecnici.

Ed è stata la HBO ad aggiudicarsi la maggior parte dei premi: l’anno scorso lo aveva fatto con The Pacific, quest’anno è toccato alla miniserie Mildred Pierce (3 Emmy) e alla serie Boardwalk Empire (7 Emmy). Tre premi anche per la controversa miniserie The Kennedys. Grandissimo ritorno invece per Futurama: nove anni dopo aver vinto il suo primo Emmy come miglior serie animata, il cartoon di Matt Groening – che sette anni fa era stato cancellato e ora è tornato su Comedy Central con grande successo – ha vinto nuovamente il rinomato premio, e si è aggiudicato anche l’altro grande premio per le serie animate, ovvero miglior doppiaggio (Maurice Lamarche).

Justin Timberlake ha vinto l’Emmy come miglior guest actor in una serie comedy e miglior musiche e testi originali (per il SNL), mentre Gwyneth Paltrow ha ricevuto l’Emmy come migliore guest actress in una serie comedy (per Glee, ovviamente).
