Nella categoria ‘Miglior Drama’ ancora una volta Breaking Bad è uscito vincitore, mettendo al tappeto competitor di alto profilo come True Detective e Game of Thrones, e Aaron Paul – interprete nella serie di Jesse Pinkman – si è anche aggiudicato il premio come Migliore Attore non protagonista. In ogni caso segnaliamo che True Detective ha comunque trovato un suo spazio grazie alla vittoria di Matthew McConaughey come Migliore Attore protagonista.
Sul fronte Comedy c’è stato un forte dominio di Orange Is The New Black, che si è aggiudicato le categorie ‘Miglior Serie’, ‘Miglior Attrice non Protagonista’ e ‘Miglior Guest Perfomer, ma il premio come ‘Migliore Attore’ è andato nuovamente a Jim Parsons per il ruolo di Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory.
