Si tratta dei premi dell’associazione degli attori, potente organizzazione di Hollywood che rappresenta una categoria molto influente sia agli Oscar che agli Emmy (perché composta prevalentemente da membri delle due Academy). Il premio al miglior cast d’insieme, in questo senso, corrisponde al premio come miglior serie. Stupisce quindi l’assenza di Big Little Lies nella categoria miglior cast d’insieme in una serie drammatica, quando la serie ottiene la bellezza di tre nomination come migliore attrice e una come miglior attore. Più equilibrato il trattamento riservato invece a Stranger Things, nominata come miglior serie, attore e attrice. Stesso dicasi per Glow, sul fronte comedy.
