Sono state annunciate le nomination agli Orange British Academy Film Awards 2013, comunemente noti come BAFTA, gli Oscar dell'industria cinematografica inglese che come sempre includono anche produzioni cinematografiche americane.

Considerati indicatori piuttosto vaghi per gli Academy Awards, i BAFTA sono ovviamente volti a riconoscere i meriti dell'industria cinematografica inglese, anche se come sempre tra i più nominati troviamo diversi favoriti agli Oscar.

E' Lincoln a dominare la lista dei più nominati, con dieci nomination, seguito da Vita di Pi e da Les Misérables con nove nomination. Stupisce però l'assenza sia di Steven Spielberg che di Tom Hooper (entrambi nominati al DGA ieri) nella lista dei migliori registi. Otto nomination per 007 – Skyfall: il maggior successo della storia del cinema inglese non viene però incluso nella lista dei migliori film. Sette nomination per Argo, con Ben Affleck come miglior attore e regista.
