Importanti riconoscimenti per Operazione Zero Dark Thirty negli Stati Uniti. Il film di Kathryn Bigelow sta facendo il pieno di premi alle varie cerimonie delle associazioni locali di critici: sabato sera, infatti, ha vinto come miglior film dell'anno sia alla Boston Society of Film Critics (BSFC, ma anche nei premi dell'associazione dei critici online), che alla New York Film Critics Online (NYFCO). In entrambe le città la Bigelow ha vinto anche il premio come miglior regista, mentre a New York Mark Boal ha ottenuto il premio per la sceneggiatura. Qualche giorno fa il thriller militare aveva ottenuto i riconoscimenti più alti sia dal New York Film Critics Circle che dalla National Board of Review.

Emmanuelle Riva ha vinto il premio come migliore attrice a New York e a Boston per Amour: il film di Haneke (premiato a Cannes e agli European Film Awards come miglior film) ha vinto anche il premio come miglior film da parte della Los Angeles Film Critics Association, dove la Riva ha condiviso il premio come attrice con Jennifer Lawrence per Silver Linings Playbook. Sempre a Los Angeles, il premio come miglior regista è andato a Paul Thomas Anderson: il suo The Master ha ottenuto riconoscimenti anche per la prova attoriale di Joaquin Phoenix e di Amy Adams.

Come accaduto in passato, vincere numerosi premi della critica non assicura certo la statuetta agli Oscar, tuttavia può aiutare alcune pellicole a far parlare di sè nell'ambiente, e l'impressione è che Operazione Zero Dark Thirty sarà uno dei film di cui si parlerà di più nelle prossime settimane…
