Entra nel vivo la stagione degli Oscar, che si apre tradizionalmente con i vari premi della critica e i premi di categoria.

Ed ecco infatti che sono uscite, in questi giorni, le nomination ai Satellite Award e agli Annie Award

Wall-EGli Annie Award ogni anno premiano gli artisti dei migliori film di animazione, e anticipano con una certa precisione il vincitore dell'Oscar come miglior film animato. Quest'anno a farla da padrone è Kung Fu Panda, con ben 17 nomination su 27, tra cui miglior film, character animation, character design, regia, musiche, scenografie, storyboard e sceneggiatura. La Walt Disney Animation studios ha preso 9 nomination per Bolt, mentre la Pixar solo 8 nomination per Wall•E. I vincitori verranno annunciati il 30 gennaio 2009. I Satellite invece sono i premi dell'International Press Academy. L'accademia, fondata nel 1996, si differenzia dall'Hollywood Foreign Press Association (quella dei Golden Globe, per intendersi) perché riunisce la maggior parte dei responsabili della stampa di intrattenimento del Mondo: vi fanno parte giornalisti del settore dell'intrattenimento. I Satellite premiano sia cinema che tv, per praticità vi segnaliamo solo le nomination del segmento cinema rimandandovi al sito ufficiale per leggere tutte le altre.

La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 14 dicembre 2008.
