Doctor Who 15: la nuova companion Varada Sethu nelle foto e nei video girati sul set

BBC non ha ancora condiviso l'annuncio ufficiale, ma dal set di Doctor Who arrivano foto e video che ritraggono Varada Sethu, interprete della nuova companion del Dottore, impegnata in alcune riprese accanto a Ncuti Gatwa.

L'attrice sostituirà Millie Gibson nelle avventure che compongono la quindicesima stagione e nelle nuove immagini realizzate durante le riprese in corso a Penarth, in Galles, è in fuga insieme al Signore del Tempo.

L'azione si svolge a Miami, negli Stati Uniti, e sembra sarà un viaggio nel passato per i due protagonisti.

Durante il weekend si è diffusa online la notizia che Millie Gibson uscirà di scena durante la seconda stagione della serie Doctor Who con star Ncuti Gatwa. L'attrice sembra apparirà solo in alcuni episodi per concludere la storia di Ruby Sunday, la giovane introdotta nello speciale di Natale.

I fan potranno comunque assistere alle avventure del Dottore e di Ruby in occasione della stagione che prenderà il via a maggio sugli schermi di BBC e Disney+.

Ncuti Gatwa, mentre BBC non ha ancora annunciato il cambio di companion, ha commentato le notizie condividendo un'immagine di Millie e ribadendo il suo affetto per la collega.
