Nel cast di Last Resort: Andre Braugher (Men of a Certain Age), Scott Speedman (The Vow), Daisy Betts (Sea Patrol), Dichen Lachman (Being Human), Daniel Lissing (Crownies), Sahr Ngaujah (House of Payne), Camille de Pazzis, Autumn Reeser (Hawaii Five-O, No Ordinary Family), Jessy Schram (Falling Skies, Once Upon a Time). Robert Patrick (The Gangster Squad) sarà un recurring guest star.La serie è scritta da Shawn Ryan (The Shield, The Unit, The Chicago Code) e Karl Gajdusek, produttori esecutivi con Martin Campbell e Marney Hochman Nash. Il pilot è stato diretto da Martin Campbell. Last Resort è prodotto da Middkid Productions e Sony Pictures Television.
Last Resort farà il suo esordio negli Stati Uniti il 27 settembre, mentre in Italia andrà in onda dall'8 ottobre su Fox (Sky).
