Space Jam: New Legends, da Arancia Meccanica a Mamma Fratelli a Pennywise, tutte le easter egg nel trailer!

Come sapete, ieri è arrivato il trailer di Space Jam: New Legends (in originale Space Jam: A New Legacy): il film di Malcolm D. Lee uscirà nelle sale americane (e su HBO Max) il 16 luglio 2021 e a settembre in Italia, e finalmente abbiamo potuto dare una prima occhiata all'atteso sequel.

E proprio questo primo trailer ha scatenato la curiosità dei fan, che hanno scovato parecchie easter egg presenti in particolare nella scena della partita "finale": si tratta di citazioni di altri film della Warner Bros., alcuni decisamente NON per bambini come Arancia Meccanica e It, altri molto più family friendly come I Goonies. Ecco i principali:

• CORRELATO – Bill Murray ricorda la lavorazione di Space Jam

Lo script del nuovo film sarà meno incentrato sui campioni di pallacanestro rispetto all’originale. Nel cast dovrebbero essere coinvolti, insieme a LeBron James, anche Damian Lillard dei Portland Trailblazers, Anthony Davis dei New Orleans Pelicans, Klay Thompson dei GSW, Diana Taurasi dei Phoenix Mercury e Chitney e Nneka Ogwumike dei Los Angeles Sparks.

Sonequa Martin-Green interpreterà la moglie di James.

Nel primo film, oltre a Michael Jordan, apparivano star come Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Shawn Bradley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson e Muggsy Bogues. Non vinse un Oscar come avrebbe voluto Elon Musk, ma un Grammy per la canzone originale “I Believe I Can Fly”.

A produrre la pellicola del nuovo film vi sono James e Ryan Coogler. Il film è stato realizzato con un misto di riprese dal vero e animazione in digitale.
