Le riprese della stagione 6 di The Crown sono attualmente in corso negli spazi dell'università Sty Andrews e dal set arrivano le prime foto di Meg Bellam ed Ed McVey nei ruoli di Kate Middleton e del Principe William.

La sesta stagione di The Crown, le cui riprese sono iniziate a settembre 2022 (con un’interruzione a causa della morte della Regina Elisabetta). Sarà incentrata sulla morte della Principessa Diana e le sue conseguenze sulla Famiglia Reale, e dovrebbe essere l’ultima stagione. Il creatore Peter Morgan ha infatti dichiarato che con l’avvicinarsi dei giorni nostri, si rende impossibile per lui scrivere le sceneggiature in quanto ha bisogno che sia passato del tempo per avere la giusta prospettiva sugli eventi narrati e inserirli nel giusto contesto storico.
