E' The Artist a guidare le nomination degli "Oscar Inglesi", seguito dalla Talpa. Nove nomination per Hugo Cabret, ma sono quasi tutte tecniche...
Sono state annunciate le nomination agli Orange British Academy Film Awards 2012, detti BAFTA, sorta di Oscar dell'industria cinematografica inglese che come sempre includono anche produzioni cinematografiche americane. Da sempre sono considerati dei vaghi indicatori per gli Oscar, anche se ovviamente si concentrano maggiormente sul cinema inglese, e infatti anche quest'anno alcuni dei film maggiormente nominati sono tra i favoriti per i premi dell'Academy.
