House of the Dragon: per Kit Harington sarà doloroso vedere lo show HBO
Kit Harington si è lasciato prendere dalla nostalgia parlando di House of the Dragon, lo spin off prequel di Game of Thrones
Intervistato da Insider, l'attore ha detto che comunque sosterrà lo show diretto da Miguel Sapochnik (il regista tra le altre cose de "La battaglia dei bastardi") ma che guarderà il tutto provando un po' di dolore, per non essere presente in uno show così collegato a Game of Thrones. Mi emoziono quando penso al collegamento. Penso che vedrò delle persone indossare abiti e costumi che assomigliano a quelli che abbiamo indossato per tutti quegli anni, poi c'è la stessa musica, lo stesso stile e il tono ma non ci sono io…
Ovviamente lo guarderò e sosterrò Miguel, che sta dirigendo lo show, e auguro loro tutto il meglio... Ma è una parte del mio cuore, quella storia, mi addolora non esserci.

Al centro della trama ci saranno cinque protagonisti: Re Viserys Targaryen, Alicent Hightower, la principessa Rhaenyra Targaryen, il principe Daemon Targaryen e Lord Corlys Velaryon. Nel cast Matt Smith nel ruolo di Daemon Targaryen, Paddy Considine che sarà il Re Viserys Targaryen, Steve Toussaint, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke e Rhys Ifans.
La regia di House of the Dragon — che avrà una prima stagione composta da 10 episodi — sarà affidata a Miguel Sapochnik, tra i ‘veterani’ di Game of Thrones. Altri registi saranno Clare Kilner, Geeta V. Patel e Greg Yaitanes. Nel cast della serie figurano Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best e Sonoya Mizuno.
Nel cast anche Graham McTavish (Ser Harrold Westerling), Ryan Corr (Ser Harwin Strong), Jefferson Hall (Lord Jason Lannister), David Horovitch (Grande Maestro Mellos), Matthew Needham (Layrs Strong), Bill Patterson (Lord Lyman Beesbury), e Gavin Spokes (Lord Lyonel Strong).
