Hi Nate, and welcome to BadComics.it.
PsychoPop recently published “Conditions”, a collection of your comics dating back to about twenty years ago. Do you ever get back and read these short stories? What do you think about them, with the experience you have gained in the meanwhile?

I do read them occasionally, and always with fondness. I think that in spots they clearly reveal that I was in my self-absorbed early 20’s, trying to hash out answers, making comics with the intention of working through bigger questions without any thought for the final output or audience, and that’s very refreshing. My all-time favorite story is in that collection—“Autopilot”, along with two other short stories, “The Astronomers’ Club” and “Daylight”, which were all originally published in Walkie Talkie #2. They were created in a vacuum, and together helped me move through a fundamental shift in life at age 22.
